| This is us on Manhattan. On that day we felt like the sign had been erected just for us. | |
| Bjoern & Stefanie waiting to be served at the vegetarian restaurant Wild Ginger. What we all got was well worth the wait. | ![]() |
Other great food in NYC: The cheese cake at this Ukranian place called Veselka. |

| This is Mauri with the amazing Peter Dizozza (on the right), who is a lawyer by day, a singer by night. On his left is some guy. | ![]() |
| Sadly we didn't bring any leather jackets to wear at the Joey Ramone Place | ![]() |
| This is Mauri waving his hand in front of the Empire State Building on a photo we originally took so he could send it to his family. | ![]() |
| Another great tourist snapshot that Benny took of us. We like the way that woman on the right looks like she's excitedly explaining: "I think we just walked past LOCAS IN LOVE". | ![]() |
| This is Benny carefully crossing a street on the Lower East Side. | ![]() |
| Without our knowledge Benny has built a successful career as restaurant owner in Little Italy. | ![]() |
| On our second day in New York City we spent our lunch break at the Comfort Diner. | ![]() |
| We got free refills, friendly service, giant servings - just as we expected. Made us feel all American. | ![]() |
| Björn got sweet potato fries, which we all thought were very amazing. Next time around he wants to order the vegetarian burger with Chili, and we can't wait to see how he manages to eat that. | ![]() |
By the end of the day we were all pretty damn tired, as you can see on Benny face. Niklas, as usual, turned all hysterical. If you see that smile on his face you should know you'll have a hard time shutting him up, bad jokes will just flow out of him. |

| This is the window of the Cakeshop in NYC, where we played a really fun concert. This place has a coffee shop and a record store upstairs and a bar and venue downstairs. You can basically spend weeks there without ever actually having to leave. | ![]() |
| In the background you see Niklas looking like a tourist (check the body language, the camera & the hip bag) while in the front Björn & stefanie are sharing a single glass of red wine. Ah, the Rock & Roll lifestyle. | ![]() |
This is the last group photo we took in New York. Early the next morning we had to bring Mauri to the Greyhound Bus. If someone had made a documentary about our trip we would have insisted on using R.E.M.s "Leaving New York" as a backdrop to these final moments. |
